"a new choice...a new source"   Packaged Pressure Booster Systems for Residential & Commercial Buildings

Grundfos system

Using Grundfos® pumps and our own Duplex Control Panel the picture on the left shows a booster package in the process of being assembled.

We manufacture our own copper headers from type "L" copper with 'pulled out' branches, brazed to the main pipe.

The control panels used in our systems, are built using APS's own specifications and include such components as: heavy duty contactors, current sensing relays rather than pressure switches, industrial type pilot lights, etc..

We use quality control accessories, such as Clayton® pressure reducing valves, Honeywell® aquastats and Asco® bleed off solenoids valves. All components are mounted on a heavy duty fabricated steel frame, which can be partly disassembled for easy transportation to the job site.

This is ideal in retrofit jobs where the system has to be transported through narrow doors and small elevator cars.

Booster-35  The system shown at the left, was built using Grundfos® CR Vertical Multi-stage pumps.

Two unequal sized pumps are controlled by a current sensing relay and a delay timer.

A low pressure sensing switch, will prevent the pumps from operating shall the city pressure drop below a certain range.
This prevents the pumps from running dry or below their rated NPSHR.

Booster-35-3
Multi function Timers, Current Sensing Relays for, accurate pump control,

heavy duty Contactors, industrial type Buttons and Lights are standard equipment in our control panels.

Our lead time for a system like this is between 2 to 3 weeks.

Pumps used in these systems are Grundfos® Multi-Stage, Model CR, Vertical In-Line. Capacities to 500 USgpm and Heads to 555 Ft.

Number of pumps: 1 to 3

Set up and commisioning is included in the cost of such a system, within 150 Km radius from the centre of GTA.

Warranty is standard: one year from date of commisioning.

We service most types of control panels for Domestic Booster Systems as well as Sump-Sewage Systems.
Booster SAA The system shown at the left is similar to Armstrong® series 6000, line of packaged booster systems.

Two equal sized pumps are controlled by a 7 day, 24 hour timer that automatically selects one of the pumps as Lead/Lag, alternating them on a pre-programed schedule.

This distributes the wear evenly between the two pumps. Two current sensing relays and delay timers complete the control system.

Working concurrently with quality Clayton PRV's our control panel helps provide uninterrupted unattended pump operation that responds quickly to demand, maintaining the building's pressure constant regardless of fluctuating water needs.
Booster SAA-SAA     The package shown here is an original Armstrong HydroPak® built with model 4380 vertical in line pumps.

APS Pumps & Motors builds systems similar to the SAA configuration shown on this picture using copper headers. However, nearly all the other components and accessories are identical or the same brands as those used by SAA.
Our lead time for a system like this is between 2 to 3 weeks.

Pumps used in these systems include Models 4360, 4380, 4300 and 4700, capacities up to 500 USgpm and Heads to 555 Ft.

Number of pumps: 1 to 3
